The Islington Citizens Advice Bureau offers free, confidential, independent advice to to Islington residents.

Housing Aid Centre

Islington council’s Housing Aid Centre can support you if you have a housing problem, are homeless or are facing homelessness.

Income Maximisation Team (IMAX)

Islington Council’s IMAX Team will help you check your benefits to make sure you are getting the correct money and support you with benefits advice in relation to education, training and employment options.

Islington Law Centre

Islington Law Centre uses experienced solicitors and caseworkers to provide essential specialist advice and other legal services.

Islington People’s Rights

Islington People’s Rights help Islington residents to increase their income and to deal with their debts. They’ll take on complex issues like benefits appeals, etc.

They’re based in Manor Gardens but also provide regular outreach services at mental health and drug and alcohol services in Islington.

Voluntary Action Islington maintain a database of pretty much every voluntary organisation in the borough of Islington which you can search to find the support you need.
