Do you look after a friend, partner or relative? Islington Carers Hub provides support for Islington residents caring for a family member or friend.
Every February is LGBT+ History Month and it was first celebrated in 2005. If you would like to know a bit more about the history then have a look at the LGBT+ History Month website.
To mark LGBT+ History Month in February 2023, we’ve organised a free 40-minute guided tour of the Queer Britain Museum in Granary Square. We’ll go to a local cafe afterwards – bring some cash for a coffee!
The Queer Britain museum opened in May 2022. It’s first exhibition provides “a riot of voices, objects and images from the worlds of activism, art, culture and social history covering over 100 years of queer life.”
When: Thursday, 23 February
Time: 1.30pm-3pm
Where: Queer Britain Museum, 2 Granary Square, London, N1C 4BH
Who: Open to anyone over 18 looking after a family member, friend or partner who is over 18. Either you or the person you look after need to live in Islington.
