This session for Carers will be a welcoming, friendly and relaxing introduction to Self-Compassion. As Carers, we need self-compassion and self-care all the more, as so much of our attention, time, love, and energy goes outwards, taking care of others. We need to keep our own cup full, instead of running on empty… but it can feel like there’s so little time! Trainer Catherine, has 25+ years of meditation experience and is a parent-carer.
There will be a short talk, some reflective exercises, some gently led meditation practice, and an intention of relaxing and bringing an attitude of kindness, compassion and appreciation towards ourselves. No previous meditation experience is required. You will be welcomed to check in, and to ask questions.
