CARERS WEEK 2015: 8-14 June

Carers Week logo

Carers Week is an annual campaign to raise awareness of caring, highlight the challenges carers face and recognise the contribution they make to families and communities throughout the UK.

In Islington there are over 16,000 unpaid carers supporting a partner, relative or friend who is frail, sick or disabled or who has a mental health or substance misuse issue. Carers Week is a fantastic opportunity to draw attention to caring in our community and showcase the wide range of support that exists for carers.
